I am writer and a teacher. As the daughter of a Cuban immigrant and Kentuckian, I love to explore language, homeplace, and culture. I write poetry and have a finished novel manuscript. I’ve attended the Appalachian Writers Conference in Hindman, Kentucky and the Tremont Writers Conference at the Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont in Tennessee.
